Specifically, we are seeking an Internet Project Analyst 3 who develops, coordinates and maintains large Internet projects with multiple, disparate stakeholders include but is not limited to:
- Development and maintenance of the all project documentation
- Coordination of the project team including the coordination of resources assigned to projects for which he/she is responsible without direct authority
Garmins Internet Project Analyst may also assist in the ongoing development of Garmins Project Management Methodologies, Project Portfolio Management and Enterprise Portfolio Management Methodologies to ensure consistency and uniformity.
Other essential functions for this role include:
- Attends and actively participates in department and facility meetings and classes.
- Demonstrates commitment to quality through knowledge of its precepts, skillful workplace applications and continuous organizational improvement.
- Actively participates in and encourages others to utilize creative and innovative approaches to accomplish tasks.
- Demonstrates responsibility for ongoing personal development, professional growth and continuing education
- Develops and maintains complex project plans which involve tasks of multiple participants and stakeholders
- Motivates and drives accountability from all project team members
- Provides project status and summary to wide audiences including senior management
- Identifies interdependencies in programs and serves as the go to person for project management
- Leads project management process improvement efforts
- Contributes to advanced technical research on new technologies and determining feasibility of team or functional goals/objectives
- Understands business impacts of issues and how they relate to IT owned solutions
- Provides reliable solutions to a wide range of difficult problems including evaluation of new technologies to improve existing functions
- Demonstrates broad understanding of Garmins business model including Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales & Marketing
- Serves as a mentor to less experienced Project Analysts (Project Analyst 1 & 2)
- Consistently looks at the opportunity in all change
- Gives and receives feedback in a constructive manner
- Resolves conflicts with little assistance
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates for this role will possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field and outstanding academics AND a minimum of 5 years relevant experience OR a Master of Science Degree in one of the fields noted above with outstanding academics AND a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
A demonstrated mastery of project management principles and adapts practices to meet rapidly changing business climates and needs, experience with and understanding of web-based concepts and processes, and experience with automated testing tools and testing procedures is also a must!
Other requirements for this role include:
- Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutions
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting
