Job Description:

• Define and document standard network architectures for Spirit Aerospace LAN, WAN, and Wireless infrastructure
• Provide network engineering and architectural assessment, design and guidance to implementation teams globally
• Define and document Spirit Network Preferred Standard Products (a listing of approved hardware and related typical network components that has been pre-accepted by Spirit and AT&T as valid and compatible with Spirits environment.  These predefined standards would be used to satisfy typical requests for more capacity. 
• Assist in resolving network architectural deficiencies by capturing and analyzing trace data from such tools as Wireshark, Network Observer and Network General Sniffer
• Assess network infrastructure to ensure SLA and data security requirements

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years hands-on experience as a data network engineer (implementation, configuration, operation, trouble shooting)
• 5+ years network architecture experience preferably in a Global enterprise
• In depth knowledge of Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Riverbed WAN accelerators, Juniper Routers
• Demonstrable experience capturing and interpreting network trace data using Wireshark
• Required to be On-Site. NO remote reporting

Hours:  Normal Business Hours and mobile support as required
