Specifications Analyst

Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Specifications Analyst position with our client in Coffeyville, KS. This position has an estimated duration of 24 months, 7:00AM-3:30PM, Mon-Fri.

The duties of this position include:

*Writes and proofs production level specifications for design changes to complex parts and assemblies related to major programs and product improvements by analyzing engineering data and other related data for Product Delivery Process (PDP) / Product Data Management (PDM) tools.

*Initiate material master records and product bills of materials from engineering documents.

*Performs all specification business processes and maintenance transactions within the Part Data Management (PDM) process.

*Perform database maintenance to assure record accuracy and relevance.

*Performs complex production floor to production level specifications audits using W-Planner and the specification data base.

*Provides assistance to new personnel and reviews completed work for data integrity.

*Acts as liaison with Engineering and Production departments and other company personnel regarding interpretation of product specifications and component requirements.

*Acts as liaison with Engineering to coordinate, notify, and work with parts coordinators, customer sales orders, product planning, tactical and strategic supply management, MRP controllers for purchasing and manufacturing, inventory control, manufacturing logistics, manufacturing engineering, service order planning and sister factories.

*Assists and trains engineering and support personnel to understand and use decision and specification procedures.

*Works closely with product engineers for processing of major engineering programs.

*Configures and writes logic rules for configurable products.

Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates should have:

*Associate degree in a business related field preferred.

*Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, and Excel.

*Good written and verbal communication skills.

*Ability to concisely convey complex descriptions of technical information.

*Attention to detail, capable of highly detailed work output.

Pay Rate: $12.00 - $13.22 Hourly DOE
