with a strong sense for building relationships with potential and existing
Customers. Business to Business Sales and Service to Industrial, Manufacturing,

As a SWEPCO Sales Representative, you will become part of a well-trained, well-supported sales organization of professionals. Armed with extensive classroom and field training, you will offer loyal Customers the highest quality products in the industry a wide range of specialty lubrication solutions found nowhere else. Consumable products needed on a daily basis to keep our Customers equipment and operations moving.

APPLICANT EXPERIENCE ... Candidates will preferably have industrial or outside sales experience in a B2B environmentand/or prior work experience in one or more of our Customer markets. However, complete training is provided and many of our successful Sales Representatives have come from maintenance, purchasing, teaching and management, etc. The understanding of equipment is a definite advantage; mechanical aptitude is a plus. We look for candidates who possess the ability to sell an essential product to end-users by asking questions and good listening skills; that enjoy learning something new and can quickly convert their learning into productive sales; who can explain product features and benefitsbased on Customers needs; who can service existing accounts when required and prepare and submit orders for processing; who will collaborate with colleagues to exchange market information and sales strategies. You should be hard-working andself-motivated with the abilityto manage your own time andto work independently. You must have a desire toprovide superior service to each Customer;to be a problem solver willing to roll up your sleeves. And selling something unique, a high quality specialty product should be important to you. You will be working out of your home office and you will need to have an office or cell phone with voicemail, a computer with internet access or fax as well as reliable transportation. You must be physically capable of walking through plants andall types of commercial, industrial and manufacturing environments, both indoors and outdoors. This position doesnotrequire an investment of any kind beyond your own sales effort. SWEPCO pays for all marketing programs and materials as well as training and continued support throughout your affiliation with the Company. SWEPCO invoices and provides financing to the Customers directly; no billing or purchasing will be required on your part. You are not required to handle credit or collections. There are no fees of any kind. No stocking or delivery requirements. You are free to devote 100% of your time to sales and account development.
