Energy Efficiency Program Manager

Energy Efficiency Program Manager[COMPANY_NAME], Ltd. (PEG) is currently seeking a seasoned technical and managerial professional to serve as our Program Manager for implementing the Kansas City Power & Light (KCP&L) Cool Homes Program. The Program Manager will be responsible for the overall administration of the program including interaction with and reporting to KCP&L staff, customer outreach, contractor recruiting and relations, and supervision of PEG staff in the Kansas City office.PEG specializes in the design and evaluation of energy efficiency programs for electric and gas utility companies nationwide.  RequirementsQualifications:

• BS or BA degree or comparable degree and/or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years project management experience. Experience in utility based residential energy efficiency programs highly desirable.
• Previous hands-on experience working with HVAC equipment highly desirable.
• Five or more years of demonstrated people management and leadership experience.
• Exemplary customer service, oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Writing sample demonstrating excellent writing skills required
• Excellent organizational, time management and analytical skills.
• Strong ability to handle competing priorities.
• Ability to train and motivate staff to build an effective team.
• Proficiency in computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel)
