Lean Business Systems Manager

This client is growing in the United States and has several plants in the States which can lead to endless opportunity for the right candidates. They are also growing internationally as their products are being sold into more than 100 countries around the world.The candidate hired will have the assertiveness, be quick on their feet to solve problems, and ultimately they will drive change because they love to make things better. One of our largest and most successful clients is looking for a proven leader who has lead an organization in a large scale change/lean implementation that is underway; and the high level, strategic leadership they need as a Lean Continuous Improvement Production Systems Manager. They sell their product into more than 100 Countries and now are over 6 Billion dollars in size. Due to the phenomenal sales and outstanding profits the company has continued to hire A players to drive them further.I need a very strong Lean Continuous Improvement Production Systems Manager. This person needs to be with a corporation not in a consulting role and led multiple plant Continuous Improvement initiatives. The person will have 8 Direct Reports.THIS IS NOT A QUALITY ROLE AND QUALITY DIRECTORS OR MANAGERS CANNOT BE SUBMITTED.The ideal candidate is a person that has been most likely traveling to multiple plants running Kaizen events. The beauty of this position is the multiple plants are on one site and the travel will be minimal so I can get you Regional Candidates off the road and home at night!!!!!!Candidate Requirements: Lean Guru. Most likely have run over a hundred Kaizen events. We are not looking for Six Sigma candidates but that is a plus. This is a true Lean Production Systems role! If you are in a plant it needs to have more than 1000 people with several Kaizen events running at the same time. Regional level preferred. Strong knowledge of a Lean System such as the Toyota Production System, Danaher Business Systems or another stellar system like the Alcoa Business System strongly preferred. Currently working in a company not consulting for an organization and not in a Quality Role. Very hands on in the operations. Great with people. Can convince Managers that do not work for them to try different tactics to get things done. Currently working in a fast paced Manufacturing company. Bachelors Degree an absolute must from an accredited university.
