vtrIT is looking for dynamic Business Systems Analysts in the Kansas City area. These people will partner with the business to identify areas for improvement, identify requirements and work with the business to develop user and technical specifications.

This person will partner with the business to identify areas for improvement, identify requirements and work with the business to develop user and technical specifications.

Responsibilities will include:

Partnering with the business to understand what drives the business, key success factors and critical needs.
Collecting, understanding and documenting business requirements and translating these into functional specifications.
Analyzing and documenting business processes.
Documenting work flows and results of business analysis.
Provide end user training on new functionality.
Monitor outstanding issues and software updates.
Test all issues included in a release.
Provide ad-hoc reporting and data analysis.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

College degree
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with all levels within the organization.
Prior hands-on experience creating requirement documents and design specification documents.
Experience writing reports with VS Reports or MS SQL Reporting Services.
Prior software design and development experience.
Skilled in MS SQL and MS Office.
Application development experience with OOL is a plus.
Previous banking/financial/retail experience is ideal.
