Revenue Specialist at Overland Park

Kforce is seeking a Revenue Specialist in the Overland Park, Kansas (KS) for a client in the transportation industry.

Job Summary:

Resolve unrecognized responsible pay party issues on freight bills. Add and maintain entries in the corporate database including updates to locations, invoicing, and revenue reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research and determine reasons why the responsible pay party is not recognized in the database


• Research data for opportunities to increase billing, rating, and invoicing accuracy


• Determine root cause issues and perform proactive measures to eliminate


• Make corrections on freight bills to accurately reflect the bill of lading


• Add/update entries to the corporate database to ensure accurate billing, rating, invoicing, and revenue reporting


• Work as a team member to ensure that all team goals are met

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Experience in PC applications and mainframe systems


• Attention to detail


• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills


• Typing 50 wpm and 10 key by touch

Preferred Qualifications:

• College level business courses


• Knowledge of transportation industry


• Ability to review and interpret freight bills
