Job Purpose: Creates and prints designs for the Printing Department by performing the following duties. Works under general supervision of the Print Shop Supervisor.
Essential Functions include thefollowing. Other duties may be assigned.
Uses designs to print, or screen products on a large format printer and pad printer.Maintains and repairs large format printer and pad printer i.e. change inks and regular cleaning.Resolves problems with manufacturing in regards to decision making process of scrapping part or using it.Follows policies and procedures in maintaining the storing of current revisions.Process drawing changes Qualifications and Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with experience in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop; and CAD experience preferred; or three to five years previous experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate verbally in one-on-one and group situations with management, co-workers, employees, and customers, including the ability to speak clearly, effectively, and professionally in positive or negative situations; listens to others without interrupting and gets clarification; and responds well to questions.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret simple and complex instructions, work orders, and technical procedures. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to reason complex problems. Ability to perform repetitive mental and physical activities.
