Support Warfighters and their families with well- being services, infrastructure, environmental and fiscal stewardship, and other installation services to enhance war fighters ability to accomplish their mission and provide a quality living and working environment.
Employee will work only during the summer season at the Marina
The Marina is located on Milford Lake, the largest man-made lake in Kansas and is approximately 16 miles outside of Fort Riley.
The Marina offers over 20 watercrafts for rent, ADA accessible playground, 4 pavilions and a fueling station. In addition, there is a boat ramp, courtesy dock and a 10 slip boat dock.
In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.
Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment.
Employees will be required to perform regular facility maintenance to include cleaning restrooms, docks, trash pickup and lifting heavy items weighing as much as 75 pounds unassisted.
Manager prefers but is not required, that the employee have experience working with computers, cash registers and boat maintenance. Prefers that employee be able to work on/around water for extended period of time and be able to work in adverse weather conditions to include extreme heat.
Employees must also be able to obtain the National Association of State Boating Law Administratiors (NASBLA) approved boaters card within two (2) weeks of employment and posses a valid drivers license. Employees in this postion are rquired to work non-standard hours which includes nights, weekends and holidays.

Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff.

Conditions of employment:
