- Compiles data from sources such as purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other key records.
- Keeps back order file in established sequence and releases back orders for issue or shipment as stock becomes available.
- Compiles stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
- Coordinates overages and shortages with office staff.
- Locates product to ensure proper product ID.
- Conducts cycle counts regularly and assist in physical inventories.
- Transfers products as needed.
- Maintains inventory accuracy in WMS.
- Compares nomenclature, stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, product lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of shipping orders.
- Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess or damaged products.
- Fast paced office setting next to a warehouse environment.
- Must be capable of multi-tasking and communicating with a variety of people and personalities.
- The warehouse itself is a cold storage environment.Warehouse bays are kept at a constant 32 degrees (and below in certain areas).
- Noise level in the warehouse varies and at times and can be loud.

- Associates Degree
- Proven ability to use basic mathematical skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail is critical in this role
