The Database Administrator will act as the central organizational layer accountable for Master Data quality. This will include the following:
- Define and periodically evaluate and report on Master Data quality.
- Propose enforcement and escalation pathways.
- Define master data creation/maintenance processes and identification of gaps.
- Create data guidelines and initiate/facilitate trainings for users involved with Master Data.
- Provide input for authorizations.
- Work on open action items related to Master Data.
- Directly engage in the creation of Master Data in special cases.
- Continuous update and modification of master data, tables, and process documentation
- Generate BOM and revisions in MRP including vendor and ECC information
- Revisions to production kiting files, costing data, and vendor management
- Work closely with Business Analyst to generate queries and reports needed for monthly invoicing and KPI publications
- Lead in upgrades and system migrations
- Assist in customer order entry and quotes
This role requires a BS in a related discipline and at least 2 years of directly related experience.
The opportunity will begin as a contract role through CDI with an opportunity to become a direct staff employee of our client following a successful contract period. The role offers an hourly rate of $26 per hour.
