  • Program, Maintain, and Optimize CMM inspection programs to precedent
  • Perform inspections both CMM and manual
  • Review job related material and process documentation, confirm accuracy and completeness
  • Complete first article inspection reports from CMM results
  • Work with all departments to improve quality of products
  • Assist Production in the translation of results
  • Keep CMMs clean and software up to date
  • Additional duties as directed by Quality Manager and Quality Director

Job Requirements:
Must possess a high school diploma, have a certification in CMM Programming/Operator training, and have three (3) years job experience.
Must have advanced knowledge of and ability to apply drawing interpretation, aerospace specifications, and the ability to complete First Article Inspections to AS9102 standards.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, procedures, and aerospace specifications, and drawings.
Must be proficient in writing technical reports and correspondence in English.
Must possess excellent communication skills, as constant communication with fellow employees within the organization, and relating technical data and requirements to external customers is required.
Must be able to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished inwritten, oral, and/or diagram form.
Must possess the ability to apply written requirements to a physical part to determine if the part meets the requirements.
Must be organized and pay keen attention to details in the application of technical date, drawings and specifications, and their application to a physical part.

CMM Programmer at Wichita

Responsible for developing accurate inspection software programs for CMMto inspect aircraft parts per customer engineering, using CAMIO. Ability to operate CMM to support manufacturing in-process first piece,internal inspection points, and customer required first article inspections. Provide technical support for machining operations to ensure part quality. Must possess strong blueprint reading skills, GD &T, and mechanical inspection skills. Solves problems and troubleshoots by using sound judgment and collaborating with other departments. Create Reduced Dimensions Sketches (RDS) using CATIA software and 3D models.
