• Developed a business case for restructuring of certain operational, selling and administrative activities. Managed the execution of restructuring activities resulting in annual cost savings of approximately $50 million.
• Created and implemented formal global accounting standards and guidelines covering such areas as: authorities limits, contracts, leasing, credit practices, intercompany transactions, M&A activities, retail accounting, internet sales, capital expenditures, foreign exchange risk hedging, budgeting, purchasing, human resources, payroll, cash management, etc.
