We have an immediate need for a Material Logistics Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

Material Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities
Principle Duties include but are not limited to:
Inventory control by assisting in cycle inventory count ensuring the accuracy of selected products
Research and resolve any inventory discrepancies.

Assist with developing, implementing, or managing procedures and/or programs to streamline and enhance the current day-to-day processes.

Order management by assisting warehouse personnel with effectively executing customer orders
Daily arrangement of transportation to/from Tooling Warehouse, Project Site, Port of designation and specified vendor location.

Forecasting future project mobilization/demobilization in accordance with project time line
Understands, trains others and applies company-wide and governmental regulations/ standards and reporting (OSHA, EPA, DOT).

Use relevant information to determine whether events or processes comply with US Export/Import Laws and Regulations and Siemens requirements.

Interface with internal logistics department and Third Party Logistics Group to handle and resolves issues with: delivery escalation, shipment escalation, inventory control, packaging conformity

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organizations business practices and issues. Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
SAP experience and Understanding
Process Improvements and Process testing
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
Project Management
